![]() ![]() If you have time to spend with a small child, then do consider building this set together.Children can launch creative play skyward with this LEGO City Passenger Airplane (60262) building set, featuring a huge toy plane with seating for the pilot and passenger minifigures, including singer Poppy Starr from the LEGO City Adventures TV series. I am amazed at how advanced lego has become! ![]() This was my first experience with lego since childhood (several decades ago) when lego was just a box of blocks to snap together. Now that we have built this set, we are preparing to build another large set soon. We spend an hour or so each day for about a week to complete the project. ![]() Kept all the bags and instruction books on that table for the duration of the build. We dedicated a child-size wooden table to the build. (he began using lego at about 2 yrs old and has both large and small lego) He adds additional passengers from other lego sets, and creates additional vehicles and buildings from lego bricks he has "collected" over the past couple years. Once assembled, my grandson continues to play with the set daily. ![]() The details on the airplane, airport, and ground support vehicle and trailers is amazing. The 4 instruction books are great in the top corner is a picture of the 3-5 pieces that you are to assemble (kids that can't yet read are able to use these instructions!) DO NOT let them! Each bag is numbered, the instruction books tell when to open which bag. Please note: when a child receives this lego set, they will probably want to open every bag of lego pieces right away. The instruction booklets and numbers on the bags made every piece easy to put together. It is not recommended for 4 year olds but as a project done with an adult it is wonderful and after building the set a child can easily play with the set on his/her own. Fantastic! Was a birthday gift for 4 year old grandson who loves lego. ![]()
